Looking Ahead to the Future of Cross-Border Payments: What Mix Will We Have?
Our Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer, Victoria Cumings, joined esteemed industry colleagues in a panel discussion at the 2022 Payments International conference in London to discuss and debate the shape of cross-border payments in the years to come.
In late November we were delighted to participate in the annual ‘Payments International’ event in London, a two-day conference involving speakers covering a range of topics relevant to payments. We were represented on a panel assessing and discussing the future of global payments, covering amongst other topics the challenges they implicate and potential solutions, as well as the status and future direction of the G20/FSB Roadmap for enhancing cross-border payments. We also gave a targeted presentation to the audience, which included central banks, market infrastructures and commercial banks, on the benefits and workings of the RTGS.global settlement model.
